“One of the cool things the nursing school has are the simulators – mannequins that talk and move like they are real people. It’s as close as you can get to reality without being real. Plus, UWG is so close to Atlanta, we had the opportunity to go to the bigger hospitals and do clinicals there. It was awesome to have these hands-on experiences while still in school.”
Ariana Culver“This was my first mural. When I found out my painting was going to be on a large scale, I was very nervous, but also grateful and excited because I knew this would be a new experience and step in my artistic career.”
Ronald Bastien ’17 ’19“UWG is an excellent university. If you put in the effort and show the professors you want to be there, they will know you by name. UWG will always have a place in my heart. It helped me become the professional and the man I am today.”
Sarah Grace Rogers“Every part of UWG I've been involved in – from anthropology to the marching band – feels like family. Carrollton is essentially my hometown, and I love living here, but I’ve always wanted to travel and learn about the world. That’s where degrees from UWG can take me.”
Brant Entrekin“My professors really have prepared me well to succeed in the area I want to work in, and they truly provide the resources by being supportive at every level – from research, to drafting, to revising, to the very process of finding and submitting papers to conferences.”
